Cyaandi Dove
DPM
Director of the Diabetes Foot program
Oregon Health & Science University

Dr. Cyaandi Dove serves as Director of the Diabetic Foot Program within the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Clinical Nutrition and the Harold Schnitzer Diabetes Health Center at Oregon Health & Science University. Her work centers on one clear mission: improving the lives of patients living with diabetic foot disease through better science, better systems of care, and stronger collaboration across disciplines. At OHSU, she is helping build a multidisciplinary limb preservation program while partnering with colleagues in endocrinology to launch new research initiatives and expand access to limb preservation care for patients who too often fall through the cracks of our healthcare system.
Before joining OHSU, Dr. Dove served as Director of Clinical Research in the Division of Podiatry within the Department of Orthopaedics at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, where she helped lead clinical research efforts focused on complex wound care and limb preservation.
Dr. Dove received her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from the California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco. She completed her residency training at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio under the mentorship of Dr. Lawrence Harkless and went on to complete a surgical fellowship at North General Hospital in New York.
Throughout her career, Dr. Dove has remained committed not only to advancing science, but to ensuring that its benefits reach the communities that need it most. She has authored peer-reviewed publications in leading medical journals, including The Lancet, and is actively engaged in national advocacy efforts to improve limb preservation care. She serves on the Board of the American Limb Preservation Society, participates in the American Diabetes Association’s Amputation Prevention Alliance, and contributes to national policy and collaboration through the Wound Care Collaborative Community. In each of these roles, her focus remains the same: bringing together clinicians, researchers, and communities to reduce preventable limb loss and improve outcomes for patients everywhere.
