Felicia Greer

Felicia Greer currently serves as the Director of Mental Health Services for the Alabama Department of Corrections with the Office of Health Services. She oversees the management of the contracted mental health services provided to incarcerated individuals with a mental illness. Ms. Greer also manages the Substance Use Treatment services for outpatient and residential inmates. She is responsible for the administrative oversight that ensures mental health care is offered in a safe and therapeutic environment. Ms. Greer provides management of the ADOC Psychological Associates who provide services to individuals incarcerated within the facilities.
Prior to joining ADOC, she worked as a Medical Social Worker and Director of Social Services for a non-profit health care organization before becoming a Site Administrator at Julia Tutwiler Prison for Women. Ms. Greer has conducted facility train-the-trainer workshops, staff trainings, prepared for audit readiness, gender-responsive strategies and strategic planning among other areas.
Ms. Greer is a graduate of Troy State University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Social Work in August 1995. She holds a Master of Science in Personnel Counseling received in 2003 from Troy State University. Ms. Greers holds a license to practice social work in Alabama.
Ms. Greer’s professional interests include training and development, organizational leadership, and strategic planning.
