Dr. Aiyer, is a Double Board Certified Psychiatrist and Interventional Pain Management physician. He completed his medical school training in the United Kingdom (University of Birmingham), followed by Psychiatry residency training at Northwell Health - Staten Island University Hospital in New York City. Dr. Aiyer further specialized in Pain Medicine with a fellowship at Weill Cornell Medical College.

In 2022, Dr. Aiyer moved to the Los Angeles area, and in 2024 founded and is medical director of Mind and Brain Link, an outpatient psychiatry clinic. In 2025, Dr. Aiyer founded his 2nd clinic, MindPain Relief Institute, an outpatient Intravenous Ketamine Clinic.

With over 50 publications and currently on the editorial board for 7 academic journals, clinical research plays an integral part of Dr. Aiyer's practice. He is also a Clinical Investigator for several clinical trials, overlooking both inpatient and outpatient research studies.

With a relatively unique background of expertise in Interventional Pain and Psychiatry, Dr. Aiyer has a passion in interconnecting both fields and raising awareness on both mental health and chronic pain.
