Jeri Wheatley

Jeri Wheatley, BS, Paramedic and EMS Director for the Arkansas City Fire/EMS Department, brings over 35 years of diverse experience in emergency medical services. A Nationally Registered and Kansas-certified paramedic, her background spans urban, rural, air medical, and fire-based EMS systems. Jeri is deeply involved in EMS education, serving as the Region IV Education Coordinator for the National Association of EMTs and represents NAEMT on the Jones & Bartlett Learning Recert Editorial Advisory Board. She regularly teaches NAEMT continuing education courses nationwide and is a strong advocate for high quality EMS education, system improvement, and advancing patient outcomes.
