Dr. David Rayburn MD MPH is an Assistant Professor Clinical Emergency Medicine and Pediatrics at Louisiana State University. He serves as the Fellowship Director for the LSU EMS Fellowship. He is also a board certified EMS physician and serves as the Medical Director for New Orleans EMS, Lakefront Regional Airport and Audubon Nature Institute. Dr. Rayburn helped start the POCUS program at New Orleans EMS and create an Advanced Practice Paramedic Program to add additional skills to paramedics who are trained in POCUS and Blood administration. His clinical and research interests include paramedic education, simulation, OHCA, and pre-hospital POCUS.
