For more than 25 years, Dr. DeAnna Crosby, Psy.D., has walked alongside individuals, families, and fellow professionals navigating the challenges of addiction, trauma, mental illness, and recovery. A psychologist, licensed marriage and family therapist, and licensed advanced alcohol and drug counselor, she has dedicated her career to creating spaces where healing can happen—both for clients and for the clinicians who serve them. Known for her engaging, down-to-earth style, Dr. Crosby blends research-driven strategies with real-world wisdom to help mental health providers thrive in high-intensity settings. Her mission is simple: to sustain the healers so they can sustain the healing. DeAnna wrote, researched, and defended her dissertation, My Time with Alice, Vicarious Trauma, and Compassion Fatigue within Counselors Working with Human Trafficking Victims.
