Jeremy Eberle, of Lincoln Nebraska, is a licensed therapist who has been providing services in the form of individuals, groups, couples, and families since 2010. Jeremy has focused primarily on treatment for substance use disorders as well as gambling disorders. In July of 2020 Jeremy and his business partner Janet Johnson successfully established Alternative Avenues in Lincoln Nebraska. Jeremy began working with clients who struggle with Video Game Use Disorders in 2017 and continues to work with this emerging population. Jeremy has held a variety esteemed positions such as Past President of the Nebraska Counseling Association and awarded NCA’s “Counselor of the Year” in 2024. In 2023 Jeremy held the position of Midwest Region Chair for the American Counseling Association and in 2025 Jeremy was the recipient of the National Council on Problem Gambling Direct Service Award which identifies Jeremy’s exemplary effort and dedication to the field of gambling/gaming disorders.
