Dr. Anna Lisa De Lima is the Founder and Clinical Director of De Lima Counseling Group, LLC, where she leads a multidisciplinary team in providing holistic, evidence-based care for individuals facing mental health disorders, substance use disorders (SUDs), and trauma. With advanced training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and other trauma-informed modalities, Dr. De Lima integrates clinical excellence with compassionate care.

Her professional background spans leadership roles in program development and clinical operations, ensuring the ethical delivery of high-quality mental health services. Dr. De Lima has worked extensively with older adults, bringing both research and direct clinical experience to address the unique challenges of aging—including cognitive decline, isolation, grief, co-occurring disorders, and the impact of lifelong trauma.

In addition to her work with aging populations, Dr. De Lima has dedicated much of her career to supporting first responders, drawing on her doctoral research on posttraumatic growth and resilience in trauma-exposed professionals. She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida, a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas, and a National Certified Counselor (NCC). Dr. De Lima earned her PhD from Walden University.

A respected presenter and educator, Dr. De Lima has shared her expertise on trauma, aging, mental health, and substance use at national and international conferences. Her work reflects a deep commitment to advancing awareness, reducing stigma, and improving outcomes for underserved and at-risk populations.
