Emily A. Hennessy, PhD, is the Associate Director and Director of Biostatistics at the Recovery Research Institute and Associate Director of the National Center on Youth Prevention, Treatment, and Recovery at Massachusetts General Hospital in the US. She is also an Assistant Professor in Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School. Dr Hennessy was a US–Norway Fulbright Scholar where she completed an MPhil in Health Promotion and focused on adolescent development and well-being. She completed her PhD at Vanderbilt University and her postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Connecticut. Her research focuses on examining adolescent and emerging adult recovery capital and works with a variety of community organizations to develop and measure recovery capital processes for their clients. She recently published the Co-Edited, Handbook of Recovery Capital.
