Scott Luetgenau, MSW, LCAS, CSI, is the founder and director of Gatespring, a consultancy focused on advancing effective, recovery-oriented responses to substance use. He is a consultant for the Opioid Response Network (ORN), a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist and Certified Clinical Supervisor Intern with extensive experience across the continuum of care, including outpatient, residential, and community-based services. Scott brings the combined perspective of clinician, systems consultant, and person in long-term recovery, which gives his work a practical, grounded edge that resonates with diverse audiences.

He is known for turning complex clinical and systems concepts into clear, usable strategies for front-line providers, supervisors, and leaders. His work frequently focuses on topics such as medications for opioid use disorder (MOUD), peer support, trauma-informed care, and practical applications of Motivational Interviewing to improve engagement and retention. Scott has provided training and technical assistance at local, state, and national levels, and is committed to helping organizations implement approaches that are both evidence-informed and deeply person-centered.
