Maliha Naseer

Dr. Maliha Naseer is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Indiana University, specializing in adult gastroenterology with a focus on Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), including Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. Her clinical and research interests center on the natural course and therapeutic management of IBD, aiming to improve long-term outcomes for patients living with these chronic conditions.

Dr. Naseer completed her residency at Wayne State University, followed by an advanced fellowship in Inflammatory Bowel Disease at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She brings this specialized training to her current role, where she continues to advance the understanding and treatment of complex gastrointestinal disorders.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Naseer is actively engaged in research and collaborates with partners across the medical industry to help drive innovation in gastroenterology, with the goal of translating emerging science into better care for patients with IBD.
