Elie Al Kazzi

Dr. Al Kazzi is an assistant professor and clinical researcher at the NYU Grossman School of Medicine and NYU Langone Health. He provides Inflammatory Bowel Disease care for sexual and gender minority (SGM) persons in the heart of Manhattan, NYC. His research interest lies in understanding non-traditional risk factors, barriers, and facilitators for high-quality care of SGM persons. He has been involved with CLAGS, the Center for LGBT studies at the Graduate Center within the City University of New York (CUNY), working with scholars there to apply queer theory and praxis in medicine and public health.
