Jason Schairer

Jason Schairer is the Director of the Henry Ford IBD Center in Michigan. His interests include Interventional IBD with a focus on stricturotomy, addressing health care inequity, intimacy and sex in IBD, and improving medical education for providers of all levels. He received his medical degree from Wayne Statue University, and went on to complete a fellowship in gastroenterology at Providence Hospital in Michigan. He previously served as the Associate Program Director of the Henry Ford Gastroenterology and Hepatology fellowship, and continues to be involved in fellow education of IBD across the state of Michigan. He has been recognized for his teaching efforts, high quality care of IBD patients and contributions to patient education. He has presented at ESCCO, AIBD and DDW. He is Vice President of the Interventional IBD Special Interest Group of ASGE. He is President of the Oakland County Medical Society. He is also active on social media including Twitter and Youtube.
