Marina Ivanov, Pharm.D., BCACP, BCPS, is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science and an Inflammatory Bowel Disease Clinical Pharmacist Specialist at Mayo Clinic–Arizona. She is a clinical leader within a multidisciplinary IBD care team, practicing under a Collaborative Practice Agreement and specializing in the management of complex and severe IBD, with a focus on treat‑to‑target strategies and expanding patient access to advanced therapies. Dr. Ivanov plays a key role in graduate medical education as a residency program developer and preceptor and was recognized with the 2023 Joe L. Rogers Allied Health Teacher of the Year Award. Locally and nationally, she is actively engaged in advancing the role of pharmacists in IBD care, promoting their integration within IBD teams to enhance medication safety, and patient outcomes.
