Faculty Agenda

Dr. Michael Simon is the Enterprise EMS Education Director for Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio, where he leads education and protocol implementation for nearly 3,000 EMS providers across approximately 90 fire and EMS agencies. He oversees system-wide continuing education and simulation initiatives within a large regional EMS medical command structure.

A former pediatric flight paramedic who remains clinically active in the field, Dr. Simon brings frontline experience to large-scale educational strategy and provider development. He previously served as Program Director for Cleveland Clinic’s initial paramedic and EMT programs, expanding enrollment and earning the Health Professions Educator of the Year award.

He serves on the Ohio EMS Education Committee and holds an MBA in Healthcare Management and a Doctor of Education in Adult Learning and Development.
