Eric Ossmann, MD, FACEP is a physician executive with more than 25 years of experience in emergency medicine, disaster preparedness, and mass gathering medicine. As Director of Medical Administration for FIFA World Cup 2026, he designed and implemented medical programs for both the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 and FIFA World Cup 2026. He is Co-Founder and Chief Medical Officer of VIGILINT, a global medical advisory and telemedicine firm serving Fortune 500 corporations and government clients worldwide. His career includes executive leadership at Duke University Medical Center and Prisma Health, advisory roles with the NFL, CDC, and U.S. Department of Homeland Security, and consultations for the World Health Organization across four continents. He is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine and a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians.
