Reimbursement and Compliance Update: Changes in Laws and Regulations Every EMS Leader Should Know

The laws, rules, and regulations that govern EMS are constantly changing, and with those changes come new challenges for getting paid for the services you provide and staying in compliance to avoid fines and penalties. This session will explore changes to reimbursement rules and policies from the largest payors of EMS services. Changes to privacy rules and recent enforcement actions by multiple agencies will also be discussed. Finally, insights into training staff to limit potential financial liability and apply best practices will be provided.
