Alberto Hernández-Tejedor, MD, PhD, is an intensivist and emergencist nationally recognized expert in critical care medicine and mechanical ventilation. He is Head of Department SAMUR-Protección Civil, the EMS of Madrid city (Spain) and the director of ESP EMT1 SAMUR-PC. He leaded the quasi-experimental study SYMEVECA on ventilation during CPR.
Magister in Bioethics and Biolaw by UNESCO Chair. Magister in Medical Direction and Expert in Healthcare Management, Disaster Management and Transplant Procurement Management. He has followed international expert training program by UCPM/WHO.
Dr. Hernández has large experience as CPR/Advanced Life Support instructor (ERC-ALS/EPALS) and as contributor in several postgraduate programmes on Emergency Medicine and Ultrasonography. He has about one hundred of scientific works published in peer-reviewed journals, chapters in books and communications in congresses.
