Bryan Fleischman is a board-certified Physician Associate (PA) and active firefighter-paramedic from Long Island, New York, with extensive experience teaching EMTs, paramedics, PA students, and interdisciplinary emergency care teams. He completed an intensive 18-month Emergency Medicine PA residency at the University of Iowa and now practices rural, critical access emergency medicine in northern New Hampshire, delivering high-acuity care in a resource-limited environment. Bryan serves as an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Family and Preventive Medicine at the Emory University School of Medicine, volunteers as a clinical preceptor with the Emory Farmworker Project, and teaches as an Advanced Wilderness Life Support (AWLS) Instructor with Wild Med Adventures in the Adirondack Mountains. He lectures nationally on emergency medicine, wilderness medicine, and EMS-focused topics, emphasizing trauma, environmental exposures, and decision-making in austere environments.
