Sean Ewen, MD, is the Founder and CEO of Allied Medical Training, a state-licensed, CAPCE-accredited education company that prepares EMS providers for real-world response and certification success. Starting his career as an EMT and rising to EMS supervisor before attending medical school, Dr. Ewen brings a rare blend of field operations, leadership, and clinical training to EMS education. He builds high-performance training systems that combine evidence-based medicine with practical, street-ready decision-making. He has designed and delivered initial certification and continuing education programs across the full spectrum of EMS provider levels, emphasizing scenario-based learning, technology enhanced learning, clinical reasoning, and durable skills under pressure. At EMS World, he shares actionable approaches to improve learner outcomes, standardize quality at scale, and strengthen the link between training and patient care.
