Faculty Agenda

Dr. Brian Ekey is a dual-board certified Emergency and EMS Physician from Blacksburg, Virginia. He is deeply involved in pre-hospital medicine, serving as an Operational Medical Director for Montgomery County Fire & EMS and the Blacksburg Volunteer Rescue Squad. He currently practices as an Emergency Physician at the Lewis Gale Hospital Montgomery campus and serves as Adjunct Faculty of Emergency Medicine at the Via College of Osteopathic Medicine. He is a lead physician facilitator of the Western Virginia EMS regional protocol workgroup and NRVEMS paramedic critical care program. He continues to run volunteer EMS calls with his duty group every Wednesday as a life member at BVRS.
