Kade Crandall, BS, NRP, RN, is currently working as a firefighter/paramedic based in Utah. He has served in both rural and urban EMS systems and has worked in the Intensive Care Unit, managing high-acuity patients across diverse environments. Kade holds a Bachelor of Science in Emergency Services Administration with an emphasis in Emergency Care and completed his nursing education with recognition from his university’s nursing department for academic excellence, professionalism, and leadership. His collaborative approach to patient care earned him the first-ever Excellence in EMS Award from one of Utah’s Level I Trauma Centers, honoring his unit’s exceptional teamwork with physicians and hospital staff. Kade integrates his paramedic and nursing experience to bridge communication gaps between prehospital providers and hospital teams, bringing a progressive perspective to his educational work.
