Faculty Agenda

Ryan Cogdill, AEMT, CTE EMS Instructor at the Area Career Center (ACC), is an EMS educator focused on preparing the next generation of providers through hands-on, scenario-based training and mastery-focused instruction. He teaches first-year EMT students and leads the nation’s first high school Advanced EMT (AEMT) capstone program, creating a structured pathway from foundational EMS education to advanced practice. Ryan serves in rural EMS and as a volunteer firefighter, bringing current field experience into his teaching. His work centers on bridging EMS education and practice, helping students move from memorizing skills to thinking like providers.
