Melinda Wilson, MAOL, CPC, CCEMT-P, NRP, serves as the Injury Prevention and Trauma Outreach Coordinator for the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville. She holds a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership and a Bachelor of Arts in Disaster and Emergency Management, providing a strong foundation in system coordination and program development. With 13 years of experience in EMS and ER settings, her work as a Community Paramedic offers unique insight into social determinants of health and the challenges faced in diverse communities. Melinda also serves on medical missions to remote areas of the Dominican Republic, providing clinical care and medical translation that support culturally informed prevention efforts. Melinda contributes nationally through NAEMT, IBSC, and NAMIHP, as well with regional and state committees.
