Faculty Agenda

Douglas Kupas, MD, NRP is a paramedic and EMS physician, and he currently serves as the President of the National Association of EMS Physicians and he was the Commonwealth EMS Medical Director for the PA Department of health from 2000 to 2022. Dr. Kupas is the Mobile Integrated Healthcare medical director and an EMS medical director for Geisinger Health System in Pennsylvania. His research and teaching interests include EMS safety, resuscitation, end-of-life care, trauma triage, and cardiac care. As an EMS physician, he regularly does field response to 911 and MIH patients.
