Faculty Agenda

Joshua S. Jones, NRP, Asst. Chief of EMS, St. George Fire Protection District. Starting as a volunteer firefighter in 2007, following in the footsteps of his younger brother, Josh then found a love for emergency medicine after being spurred to take an EMT course. That intial volunteer service was then followed by part time service with area EMS and fire services while working through paramedic school in 2012-2013. Upon acquiring certification and licensure as a NRP, Josh then sought full-time service with an area fire department that provided transporting EMS, landing at Mandeville Fire Department/St. Tammany Fire District No. 4, in Mandeville, LA before being presented an opportunity to join a medical program at its inception at St. George Fire.
