Daniel Staribacher, MD, MBA, LL.M., FACS, is the senior emergency physician of a HEMS Service that operates 10 HEMS helicopters in Austria and is serving as the Chief Medcial Officer of Heli Austria. He is the national medical director of PHTLS in Austria. He is a specialist in trauma surgery, orthopedic surgery and neurosurgery and is nationally recognized expert in pre hospital trauma and emergency care. He not only holds a medical degree, a degree in Health care management and an LL.M. in health care law, but is also a licensed paramedic in Austria and Germany.
