A leader in healthcare innovation and community health, Desiree Partain's expertise has been in in critical care, employee wellness, and change management. With a Master’s in Healthcare Administration and a background as a licensed paramedic, Desiree has helped to develop and sustain Mobile Integrated Healthcare programs and has been a subject matter expert for the IBSC and co-author for Community Health Paramedicine textbook.
An advocate for mental health, Desiree’s mission grew personal in 2016 after experiencing the profound impact of suicide. In 2017, she founded the first corporate Hope Squad, the first peer support team for first responders and corporate employees, focusing on resilience and suicide prevention. Desiree continues to lead efforts in first responder mental health, building stronger, healthier communities one initiative at a time.
