David J. Olvera, MBA, BS, FP-C, NRP, CMTE is a Clinical Manager with AirLife and an internationally recognized airway and resuscitation researcher. With over 2 decades of experience leading prehospital and critical care studies, Dave has authored or contributed to more than 20 peer-reviewed projects and presents frequently at EMS World, NAEMSP, AMTC, SAM, and WAMM. His work spans advanced airway techniques, human factors, resuscitation strategy, and the integration of translational research into real-world EMS.

Dave previously served as Director of Clinical Research for Air Methods and has held roles across transport, hospital-based research, and industry innovation. A former Army combat medic, he brings a strong operational and patient-centered mindset to every project. He is currently completing an M.S. in Marketing with a focus on intelligence and strategy.
