Faculty Agenda

Bruce J. Moeller, Ph.D., is Executive Director of the Florida Center for EMS (FL-CEMS) at the University of South Florida’s Morsani College of Medicine and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine. A public-safety leader for more than 30 years—serving as Fire Chief, City Manager, and in county administration—he brings extensive experience in fire and EMS operations, 9-1-1 communications, and public safety system design. He serves on the NFPA 1225 Technical Committee and on the Executive Board of the NFPA Fire & Emergency Services Section. His work focuses on statewide EMS workforce research, demographic projections, and data-driven strategies to strengthen the EMS profession.
