Faculty Agenda

J.T. Malcolm is a Training Captain and Apprenticeship Coordinator with Wake County EMS. He has been a Paramedic with Wake County for more than 12 years. Throughout his career, he has served as a Tactical Medic, SAR Medic, and Bike Team Medic. He currently oversees and delivers various training and professional development opportunities conducted by Wake County EMS, Division of Professional Development, including apprenticeships, initial education, new employee onboarding (academy), and continuing education. Capt. Malcolm also serves as a Corpsman in the U.S. Navy Reserve, and volunteers as a Public Safety Diver and Diver Medic with the Youngsville Underwater Search and Recovery Team. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Emergency Medical Care from Western Carolina University.
