Elizabeth “Liz” Harney is a proven EMS leader, clinician, and advocate for growth and resilience, dedicated to bridging expertise with human connection. A Critical Care Paramedic, she has served on multiple boards, published in EMS World, and spoken at national conferences, shaping the future of EMS education and clinical excellence. She co-founded Paramedic Pathways, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting future paramedics through scholarships, reinforcing her commitment to the profession’s growth. Currently, she leads EMS quality initiatives while expanding her national presence to equip providers with emotional intelligence and leadership strategies for lasting impact. Her passion for EMS, education, and mental health comes from a lived journey of resilience and purpose. Through her work, Liz empowers the next generation of providers to deliver excellent care grounded in meaningful human connection.
