Aaron Burnett MD, FAEMS, is the EMS medical director for the largest fire-based EMS agency in the state of Minnesota, the St. Paul Fire Dept. In 2024 he completed a decade as the Minnesota state EMS medical director. Dr. Burnett serves as an associate EMS fellowship program director, faculty for an Emergency Medicine residency and medical director for a paramedic training program. As a member of the University of Minnesota Mobile Resuscitation Consortium Dr. Burnett is actively involved in the Twin Cities out of hospital cardiac arrest ECMO program. He holds a medical degree from the State University of New York, competed a residency in Emergency Medicine and fellowship in EMS at Regions Hospital in Minnesota and is an Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine at the University of Minnesota.
