Michael W. Dailey, MD, FACEP FAEMS, is Chief of the Division of Prehospital and Operational Medicine and Professor of Emergency Medicine and EMS Fellowship Director at the Albany Medical College. He is board certified in both Emergency Medicine and EMS. He completed residency in Emergency Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh in 2001, and received his MD from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 1998. He has been involved in EMS for a really long time, with provider experience in volunteer suburban EMS, rural volunteer fire service, urban municipal EMS, and helicopter EMS. He has medical direction responsibilities for state, municipal, and volunteer services spanning EMS, fire and law enforcement. He serves as the Medical Advisor for EMS World.
