Katheirne has recently had published her 2nd of Infection Control Policies and Procedures for Community Paramedicine/MIH. She is a consultant with Infection Control Emerging Concepts and works on a national and international level.

Departments are responsible to ensure that exposed employees/volunteers are provided proper post-exposure care and counseling. In order to ensure that process, the department personnel responsible for the management of exposures need to know the current protocols that should be followed.
