Daniel Sundahl is a published artist and writer with five (5) art books produced of his works. He is a Counselling Therapist, an Advanced Care Paramedic, and retired Firefighter. Articles of his work are featured in several international publications, including Australia, Finland, Greece and the UK. His art is recognized worldwide, and he travels internationally, speaking about his art, recovery, resilience and post-traumatic growth. He is also the founder and president of the Recovery and Resiliency Foundation, a registered charity assisting individuals with navigating from trauma to post-traumatic growth.

As a counsellor, Daniel focuses on interpersonal relationship issues, substance abuse and grief secondary to trauma. Metabolic psychiatry is a particular topic of interest as he recognizes the relationship between diet and mental health for first responders.

Peer Support-Support: A Practical Self-Care Workshop for Those Who Support Their Peers in Crisis

We don't often think of the extra stressors that peer support members experience. In addition to the regular stress of the job, they also take on the stress of others. In this workshop, peer support members learn the extra tools and techniques needed to be resilient while performing the rewarding work of a peer support team member.
