David Spiro

Dr. David Spiro, MD, MPH, has been the Section Chief of Pediatrics at Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock, AR since 2020. He started his career in medicine as a Paramedic, and received his medical degree from the University of California, San Francisco in 1991. He has since been a Professor of Pediatrics at Yale University, Oregon Health & Science University, and the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. It was while teaching at Yale that Dr. Spiro came up with the idea for virtual patient cases, starting ReelDx in 2012.
