Jared McKinney

Dr. McKinney, an expert in Emergency Medicine and Emergency Medical Services since 2006, holds various leadership roles. He is a medical director for Vanderbilt LifeFlight, Mount Juliet Fire Department, and Associate Medical Director of the Nashville Fire Department EMS. He also chairs the Vanderbilt University Medical Center Resuscitation Committee, directs the EMS Fellowship program, and serves as the Medical Director for the EMS Center of Excellence.
Dr. McKinney actively contributes to leadership development and education in EMS, working with the Tennessee State EMS Board and the Tennessee EMS Education Association to create a leadership course. His efforts in EMS medical direction and education earned him the Dr. Robert C Clark EMS Medical Director of the Year Award from the Tennessee Ambulance Service Association in 2023.
