EMS Chief Chris Holloway has over 27 years experience in the Fire Service. He spent most of that time as a line officer/station captain until he assumed his current role as EMS Chief in 2014. He is a national conference presenter, and past recipient of the Tuscaloosa Fire Rescue EMS Provider of the Year award. Chief Holloway has worked closely with the University of Alabama Athletics division in providing EMS coverage for Bryant Denny Stadium and their other athletic venues. He is the co-creator of Tuscaloosa Fire Rescue's EMS Prevention program, and also provides oversight for the City's ambulance franchisee, Northstar Paramedic Services.
