After a 10 year career in EMS including several years of teaching prehospital emergency care, Dr. Kasha Bornstein transitioned to becoming a physician alongside pursuing advanced degrees in clinical pharmacology and public health. Dr. Bornstein is currently a resident physician in Internal and Emergency Medicine at Louisiana State University. Dr. Bornstein's clinical and research interests include prehospital critical care, medical education, and harm reduction. Dr. Bornstein collaborated on protocol design and education for the prehospital ultrasound program at New Orleans EMS and continues to provide continuous quality assessment for the ongoing project.
