Community Paramedicine Can be Started in Almost Any Community

This presentation will discuss mobile integrated healthcare (MIH) areas of focus that EMS agencies or fire departments can implement in their community. The session will discuss the benefits of reducing call volume, which improves patient and providers satisfaction. Attendees will learn how MIH programs can improve the health of people in the community. Attendees will see examples of successful programs focusing on high-volume users, contracted hospice response, jail or homeless shelter programs, and opioid interventions.
