60 min
Wednesday, July 08, 2026
12:00 PM - 1:00 PM
HMP Education has designated unrestricted grants from Urgo Medical North America.

Learning Objectives:
1) Examine the key patient-focused factors contributing to wound infection and delayed healing in today’s clinical environment.
2) Evaluate the use of antimicrobial interventions—including systemic antibiotics, antimicrobial dressings, and preserved wound cleansers—and assess their effectiveness in managing wound bioburden.
3) Review advancements in wound bed preparation technologies designed to address slough, debris, and microbial burden, including hypochlorous acid solutions and charged fiber-based debridement support technologies.
4) Explore the mechanism of action and emerging evidence supporting the use of hypochlorous acid as an adjunctive therapy for managing Candida auris wound infections
5) Analyze real-world patient cases to identify evidence-based approaches for managing wound infection and promoting effective wound bed cleansing and debridement.
