    • How long is the WCPC in-person course?

The WCPC in-person course is an intensive 2-day certification review program. Each day typically runs from approximately 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM local time, providing a full day of instruction, interactive discussion, and exam preparation. Exact start and end times may vary slightly by course location.

    • What certifications does WCPC prepare you for?

The course helps clinicians prepare for the following wound care certifications:

      • CWCA® (Certified Wound Care Associate)
      • CWS® (Certified Wound Specialist)
      • CWSP® (Certified Wound Specialist Physician)

WCPC is recommended by the ABWM Foundation as a certification review resource.

    • Does this course guarantee passing the certification exam?

No certification preparation course can guarantee exam success. However, WCPC is designed to provide a comprehensive review aligned with certification exam content, and 93% of participants report successfully passing their certification exam after attending the course.

    • Who should attend the WCPC in-person course?

The in-person WCPC format is ideal for clinicians who benefit from immersive, face-to-face learning and dedicated time away from clinical responsibilities to focus on certification preparation.

Attending WCPC in person offers several advantages over virtual or on-demand formats, including:

      • Direct interaction with expert faculty to ask questions and clarify complex wound care concepts in real time
      • Interactive case discussions that allow participants to explore clinical scenarios and exam-focused topics collaboratively
      • Peer networking with clinicians across the wound care continuum, creating opportunities to exchange practical insights and best practices
      • A structured, distraction-free learning environment that allows clinicians to fully focus on certification preparation

This format is especially valuable for clinicians who prefer hands-on engagement, real-time discussion, and collaborative learning when preparing for the CWCA®, CWS®, or CWSP® certification exams.
