The subject of women in senior management positions is one which is discussed in every industry. There are vocal calls for greater numbers of women in top management positions who can act as female role models. Although the proportion of women in middle management positions has increased, equality between men and women in the c-suite has yet to be achieved.
Join us as we delve into the critical topic of professional advancement for women in the senior living industry. ""How Women Rise,"" co-authored by Sally Helgesen and Marshall Goldsmith, is a dynamic exploration of the 12 common habits that may inadvertently impede women from reaching their full potential. The book identifies twelve common habits that may impede women from achieving the success they deserve in the workplace. WIL Panelists will share their experience addressing these habits in their professional careers and will offer tips for self-identification and support to overcome. What do women in top executive positions have in common and what makes them different? How do they seize and build upon opportunities? What techniques do they use to overcome obstacles? What leadership styles enable them to advance to senior management and then remain there? Note: This session is not only geared toward women seeking to rise, but all leaders seeking to empower the women on their teams to overcome the habits that may be holding them back.
