When booking your hotel reservation, you must provide a valid credit card to guarantee payment. All reservations require a nonrefundable deposit of at least one night's room and tax. Hotels will charge the nonrefundable deposit at 5:00 PM ET on April 7, 2025. This deposit will be applied to your guest folio upon check-in. 

NOTE: If you cancel your reservation after 5:00 PM ET on April 7, 2025, this deposit will NOT be refunded.

For reservations made in the official SLEC housing block, hotel confirmations will be sent by Orchid Events the week of April 22. If you do not receive your confirmation in this time frame, please contact Orchid Events at 833.303.4701 or via email at help@orchid.events. 

Orchid Events is the ONLY officially endorsed hotel provider for the Senior Living Executive Conference. If you choose to book with a vendor other than Orchid Events, we strongly encourage you to verify their credentials. They may appear to have lower rates; however, they may be illegitimate, not have the inventory promised, have unreasonable cancellation/change penalties, or offer no refunds. 

Important Note About Scammers
Scammers may call or email conference attendees, faculty, and exhibitors, claiming to represent SLEC or its vendors, and encourage you to book rooms using fake promotion companies. They may know a lot about the meeting and may even alter the caller ID to make it look like SLEC or HMP is calling. Those targeted by these scammers are told housing is filling up or is almost sold out and rooms should be booked with them immediately.

SLEC, HMP, and our host hotels will never call you to solicit hotel reservations. Any legitimate message to attendees will direct you to the meeting's Hotel & Travel information page, where attendees will use secure links to make reservations with our approved housing provider (Orchid Events). 

SLEC and HMP respect your privacy and will never post attendee or exhibitor contact information online. Rooms booked through any source other than the approved housing provider are at your own risk.
