Attendees: When booking your hotel accommodations, you must provide a valid credit card number to guarantee payment. Reservations cancelled between the initial time of booking and on or before April 5, 2026, will be assessed a $25 cancellation fee. All reservations require a nonrefundable deposit of one night’s room & tax. Hotels will charge the nonrefundable deposit of one night’s room & tax on or after April 6, 2026. This deposit will be applied to each guest’s folio upon check-in. Please note that if you cancel on or after April 6, 2026, the deposit will not be refunded.

In the event you check out of your hotel room prior to the reserved check-out date, the hotel may add an early departure fee to your guest folio. If you wish to avoid an early checkout fee, please advise the hotel at or before check-in of any change in planned length of stay.

Orchid Events is the ONLY officially endorsed hotel provider for the Senior Living Executive Conference. If you choose to book with a vendor other than Orchid Events, we strongly encourage you to verify their credentials. They may appear to have lower rates; however, they may be illegitimate, not have the inventory promised, have unreasonable cancellation/change penalties, or offer no refunds. 

Important Note About Scammers
Scammers may call or email conference attendees, faculty, and exhibitors, claiming to represent SLEC or its vendors, and encourage you to book rooms via fake promotion companies. They may know a lot about the meeting and may even alter the caller ID to make it look like SLEC or HMP is calling. Those targeted by these scammers are told housing is filling up or is almost sold out and rooms should be booked with them immediately.

SLEC, HMP, and our host hotels will never call you to solicit hotel reservations. Any legitimate message to attendees will direct you to the meeting's Hotel & Travel information page, where attendees will use secure links to make reservations with our approved housing provider, Orchid Events. 

SLEC and HMP respect your privacy and will never post attendee or exhibitor contact information online. Rooms booked through any source other than the approved housing provider are at your own risk.
