As the senior living industry prepares for the transition to value-based care, the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Innovation (CMMI)’s GUIDE Program is shaping the future of care for residents with dementia. Large operators like Atria Senior Living and LCS, are collaborating with healthcare providers in the program to improve outcomes and gain insights into the total cost of care for their residents.
For senior living operators, these improved outcomes represent an opportunity to not only enhance care but also better align with healthcare providers and government initiatives as the shift to value-based care accelerates. Moreover, GUIDE offers operators the opportunity to become GUIDE Partner Organizations, expanding their services through respite care and other offerings.
This panel will explore the operational and financial benefits of GUIDE and similar programs in senior living, sharing real-world outcomes from these programs and strategies for building successful partnerships without compromising quality or continuity of care.
