•Employ a comprehensive chronic wound workup, including vascular assessment, to identify underlying factors and develop an individualized treatment plan to optimize healing outcomes
•Recognize the importance of early and effective debridement to optimize healing outcomes and to maximize the effectiveness of advanced therapies
•Explain the science of advanced therapies including CAMPS and advanced bovine collagen matrix and determine when to initiate
•Examine the implications of the new LCDs for reimbursement of CAMPs for diabetic foot ulcers and venous leg ulcers
