The Missing Pieces of ADHD: Practical Pearls for Clinical Practice
60 min
Sunday, November 15, 2026
3:50 PM - 4:50 PM
Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) extends beyond its classic presentation and often presents diagnostic and treatment challenges across the lifespan. This session applies DSM-5-TR criteria across the lifespan, links the underlying circuitry and catecholamine signaling to how stimulants and non-stimulants work, and distinguishes methylphenidate from amphetamine and compares the approved non-stimulants. Attendees will leave able to select and titrate treatment by age, comorbidity, and delivery system, and to describe agents approved or in development as of 2026.
