A highly experienced Medical Officer with over 30 years of leadership in healthcare delivery across the continuum of care. Served as Chief Medical Officer for a community based woundcare clinic for nine years, establishing the first and largest multi-clinic operations specializing in wound care and hyperbaric therapy. Directed one of the largest hospital-based wound care and hyperbaric centers for a decade, where I implemented advanced clinical protocols and multidisciplinary care models. Currently serves as Medical Director for multiple nursing homes, consistently ensuring regulatory compliance and high-quality patient outcomes. Active as a Certified Disability Analyst and NCQA Surveyor, contributing to national standards in healthcare quality and disability evaluation. Upholding a rigorous track record in consulting across acute, post-acute, and long-term care settings, with a focus on optimizing clinical operations and advancing patient-centered care. Additionally, I serve as an active board member of the SIREN/DSMB NIH board, contributing to national research oversight and data safety monitoring

The Healing Intersection: An Integrated Approach to Nutrition, Sleep, Stress, and Mobility

Optimal wound healing extends far beyond dressings and procedures. Growing evidence supports the essential roles of targeted nutrition, restorative sleep, stress management, and therapeutic mobility in supporting collagen synthesis, angiogenesis, immune function, and tissue regeneration. Conversely, inadequate rest and unmanaged stress can disrupt inflammatory balance and delay recovery, while structured physical therapy interventions enhance circulation, oxygen delivery, and overall function. Framed through an integrated approach to wound care, this session translates science into practical application.

Jeanine Maguire, a Physical Therapist and Certified Wound Specialist is a visionary leader and PhD scholar dedicated to connecting and building high-performing teams to dramatically improve health care and patient outcomes. With nearly three decades in wound management, Dr. Maguire previously held the impactful role of VP of Skin Health and Wound Management Integrations at Genesis HealthCare, managing a program that scaled technology and standardized care across 500 nursing homes nationwide. Her innovative spirit led her to serve as a Chief Clinical Delivery Officer for a Value Based Care Wound Start-up, where she was a pioneer in building sophisticated care pathways and collaborating with AI engineers to develop evidence-based clinical guidance rules. Her commitment to integrated, patient-centered care culminated in her role as President and co-founder of the rising global non-profit, the Post-Acute Wound Skin Integrity Council (PAWSIC), driving advocacy and educational excellence across the post-acute sector and beyond.
