Therese Laub, LPN, CWS, FACCWS is a wound care clinician, consultant, and educator with more than 20 years of experience in post-acute and mobile wound care. She is the founder of Cicerone Consultants LLC, where she helps wound care practices, home health agencies, and long-term care partners build clinically sound, compliant, and scalable wound care workflows.
Therese’s work focuses on bridging the gap between bedside wound assessment, documentation, reimbursement requirements, and real-world clinical decision-making. She has extensive experience supporting mobile wound care programs, Medicare LCD-aligned documentation, audit readiness, dressing selection, cellular tissue product utilization, and post-acute wound care education. Her practical approach helps clinicians connect wound presentation, exudate patterns, product selection, and reassessment strategies in a way that supports both patient outcomes and regulatory compliance.
In addition to consulting, Therese is involved in developing education and certification pathways for wound care case management, with an emphasis on improving continuity of care across home health, long-term care, assisted living, and mobile provider models. She is passionate about making wound care education practical, clinically relevant, and immediately usable for providers working in complex post-acute environments.
At WoundCon, Therese brings a real-world perspective shaped by years of working alongside clinicians, facilities, and wound care teams caring for patients with chronic and complex wounds.
